is the Grammy Music Award winning album

by consummate musician / songwriter / singer

the incomparable:  Stevie Wonder.

 

Released on 28 September 1976

the album is genius:   a musical tour de force-

with songs of different musical genres

pop, jazz, R & B, funk.

Not only did Mr. Wonder(ful)

take home the Grammy Award for Best Album

for Songs in the Key of Life

he also received the Grammy accolades for

Best Male Pop Vocal Performance

Best Male R & B Performance

Producer of the Year.

Presently, Mr. Wonder is on tour, titled

“The Songs in the Key of Life Tour”

to celebrate 38 years since the album’s release

(the tour commenced in November 2014).

Travelling to venues throughout Canada and the United States,

the concert is a three-hour long celebration in which Mr.  Wonder

sings every song from the double LP multiple award winner.

Last evening, 29 October 2015,

the Pittsburgh audience, attending at the Consol Energy Centre, enjoyed

this show of a life time:  Stevie Wonder performing songs from an album

which many consider his greatest musical achievement

and one of the greatest albums of all time.
