This year marks the 24th year of

Graduate Fashion Week (GFW), London.

GFW is a platform to highlight

the innovative design talents of upcoming fashion creatives.

This annual, four day event showcases the

BA (Bachelor of Arts) in Fashion

graduate collections of students from

universities throughout the United Kingdom and abroad.

For GFW, 2015

final year students from over 40 UK colleges/universities and

15 institutions from further afield:

including several European countries,  Russia, Taiwan, Columbia-

exhibited their graduate collections.

Previous winners of the coveted Gold Award have included

designers who have continued on to achieve international success

such as Stella McCartney, Giles Deacon and Matthew Williamson.

This year’s Gold Award recipient is

Hannah Wallace of Manchester School of Art.

One to watch

Ms. Wallace presented a mens outerwear collection

of oversized, silver, black puffer jackets and coats-

inspired by galactic references and planetary bodies.
