The British Fashion Awards is an annual event to recognise

those who have made meaningful contributions to the British fashion industry.

This year’s recipients were honoured on Monday, 1 December 2014.

The gala evening was  held at the London Coliseum.

In the category of Emerging Womenswear Designer, the winner is

The design duo of Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida met when

both were students at CITEX Fashion School in Portugal.

In the category of Emerging Menswear Designer, the winner is

Central Saint Martins graduate, Craig Green creates provocative pieces

that are more “wearable art” than understandable clothing.

Often constructed from unconventional materials

and molded into unexpected silhouettes,

the garments create a “mood” and present a design story.

J.W.  Anderson

J.W. Anderson’s menswear collections are enigmatic, gender-blurring

creations, which re-invent the silhouette of men’s fashion.

His work is an original, interpretive of modern menswear.

In the category of Womenswear Designer, the winner is

Erdem

Designer Erdem Moraliogiu was born in Montreal, Canada.

His childhood years were divided between Canada and England.

He completed a Masters degree from the Royal College of Art in 2003,

and now heads the global fashion house, Erdem.

He lists celebrity clients and royals among those who have worn his creations.
