The ‘Queen Supreme’ of minimalist cool

designer, Jil Sander

has retired for a third time,

from the helm of her eponymous label,

which she in founded in 1968.

The newly appointed creative head of the Jil Sander label

is Italian designer, Rodolfo Paglialunga.

Sr. Palialunga will present his first offering for the brand

during the spring/summer 2015 season.

“I’m deeply honoured to have the opportunity to take on this role.

I have boundless admiration for the brand as

I strongly believe in its pure vision and values

My aim is to carry forward the fusion between sophistication,

luxury and innovation and bring the house [to] the next level.”

Rudolfo Paglialunga

new creative director at Jil Sander

I for one look forward to Sr. Paglialunga’s  interpretation

of the Jil Sander aesthetics:  minimalist … yes

with an injection of ‘wait and see”.

Just a few short months to go.
