Arrived with empty hands

Departed with hands full

of bags with fashion finds!

So satisfying

Where:  The Hoxton Shoreditch

When:  Saturday, 12 April

Why:  The Stylist’s Rail Pop Up

What (for):  A fashion fun experience –

a carefully planned surprise – a day out gift for me

(Thank you lots, you know who!)

which resulted in a great day

of shopping, browsing

chatting/meeting clothing/jewellery designers

stylists, vintage sellers

The Stylist’s Rail

launched back in March 2013

is the shopping invention of

 blogger (Plumdiddlyumcious)  and PR consultant

Victoria Bell

who organised this unique shopping event featuring

ASOS Marketplace traders, vintage collectors, independent designers

showcasing and selling their pieces in a lively, party-like atmosphere.

An in-house  DJ offering of dance tunes

G & T  flowing

(I stuck to sparkling water with fresh strawberries)

A selection of flavoured meringues

Happy people in conversation

Incredible selection of vintage and designer wear

stylist from plumdiddlyumcious.com

Plum, creative director of The Stylist’s Rail

“I wanted The Stylist’s Rail to be a representation of how we shop now –

a blend of high-street, vintage, thrifted designer pieces and independent labels –

and for it to have a fun, party atmosphere akin to a festival with live DJs and cocktails.

I think I basically wanted to create my version of shopping heaven!”

The Stylist’s Rail  –  now added to my fashion-shop itinerary.
