Art and fashion:

 the former the general term

the latter a specific of interpretive expression –

a painter, a muralist, an illustrator

a fashion designer

all creatives producing through different media.

Miuccia Prada presented a s/s 2014 collection,

which featured imagery of women in full front facial aspect –

(some a bit abstract, others of greater realism)

a celebration of femininity:  beauty, strength, provocation, intrigue.

For Prada’s runway show,

muralists – Stinkfish, Gabriel Specter, Miles “EL Mac” MacGregor

and illustrators – Jeanne Detallante and Pierre Mornet

were invited to portray femininity as subject matter

in their artwork, which served as backdrop;

murals, paintings, dress as basis for creative offering.
