In her book, How to Tell a Woman by Her Handbag

 author Kathryn Eisman

coins the term ‘purse-onality’,

defining the handbag as one determinant of

lifestyle / disposition / tastes / preferences –

a case of handbag psychology.

Ms Eisman states:

“A woman’s handbag is an extension of who she is

and it helps her facilitate the roles she plays.”

It holds work files/documents

to-do  lists of her home responsibilities

 make-up items and much more.

A woman’s handbag is of sorts, a ‘security blanket’ for adult life  –

cradling the essentials to assist in navigating her world.

What does your handbag collection say about you?

What is your purse-onality?  …
