Swedish designer Sandra Bucklund
is an artisan extraordinaire of three-dimensional knitwear design.
In 2012, photographic images of her work, by Ola Bergengren,
were exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Ms. Bucklund often incorporates unexpected materials:
paper, human hair and metal yarn- spun from 100% copper,
into the manufacturing of her creations.
She is engaged with structure, silhouette and proportion.
Her avant garde garments celebrate the female form.
Her work is sculptural, architectural.
